Global Responsibility, Enterprise, and Sustainability

We believe in supporting the next generation and fostering enterprise both locally and globally.

  • We proudly support the Kiva micro-lending system, contributing to economic empowerment by providing loans to entrepreneurs and students in developing nations. This aligns directly with our value of fostering a culture of abundance where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

  • NextGen Civil proudly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, guiding our operations and community investments toward global principles of sustainability, prosperity, and climate action.

  • We sponsor the African Angels School in South Africa, contributing to education and opportunity for children in a developing nation.

Infrastructure, Recreation, and Economic Growth

We leverage our expertise to initiate and support projects that deliver lasting community infrastructure.

    • We initiated and funded feasibility studies for a 2,500-seat grandstand at Apex Oval. This included facilitating land transfer, securing a tax ruling, and delivering concept designs.

    • Impact: Since completion, the venue  has hosted professional sports like Rugby League and Soccer, boosting local pride and economic activity.

Social Support and Community Building

We provide foundational support to initiatives that strengthen the local social safety net and create local opportunities.

    • We initiated and funded this project for three years starting in 2007, partnering with the Baptist Church.

    • Ongoing Success: We developed governance frameworks to ensure its ongoing success, and it is now run by a volunteer committee providing weekly community meals. A local Men's Shed also emerged from this initiative.

Environmental Conservation and Stewardship

Our commitment to the environment goes beyond compliance - we lead long-term restoration projects in partnership with local experts.

  • On 40 hectares at Kintyre Heights, we led rehabilitation efforts in partnership with Traditional Owners, ecologists, and government.   • We assisted Tubba-Gah Wiradjuri Traditional Owners by providing resources to restore land at Terramungamine and thinning the invasive Cypress Pine species, supporting native biodiversity.

Arts and Culture

We believe in stimulating cultural and economic activity by enhancing public spaces through art.

  • We have funded a range of public artworks and events, including murals, sculptures, and festivals (like ROAR electronic music festival), collaborating with artists and community groups.

  • We funded two interactive installations (Sky Castle and Farting Cockatoos) in the Dubbo CBD, drawing over 100,000 visitors and promoting dialogue on the environment, diversity, and tech.

  • We funded and donated the "Rhino" painting by Jack Randal, which is installed at the Dubbo Regional Airport.
