The Challenges and Integrated Solutions

The primary challenge was the delivery of a highly specialised, purpose-built facility on a tight 2010 schedule, requiring the seamless integration of industrial building standards with complex site infrastructure.

  • Specialised Building: The facility demanded a clear-span construction with an exceptional internal clearance height of approximately 19 metres at the apex for the open workshop/warehouse.

  • Integrated Construction: We managed the integration of two distinct components: the high-spec workshop (Colorbond metal cladding) and the detailed administration component (Brick walls, plasterboard interiors), totaling 1,390 sqm.

  • Industrial Infrastructure: Our civil team delivered the necessary groundwork, including all hardstand access driveways (concrete/bitumen/gravel), perimeter post and wire fencing, and compliant vehicular access via roller doors on three sides.

NextGen Civil's comprehensive Core Services ensured that the project moved smoothly from site preparation to final commissioning, all managed under strict WHS and Quality Assurance protocols.
